3 Imox - 3 I’x - 3 Kan

*Epigraphy drawn by Walter Paz Joj

Conceived with the visit of Ahau Imox, the 3rd day in the Trecena (one cycle of the 13 energies) of Kawok - the energy of the midwife, carefully caressing this baby of cacao seeds into existence. The beginning of the new solar year in the Mayan calendar, carried by energy N’oj - the knowledge and air element.

This is where our journey begins, asking cacao - “What do you need? How can we be of service?” This is how she replies..

3 Imox is when she was conceived into the collective consciousness. 3 representing the energy of the inner world, the time to go within. The Hermit /recluse must first go inside in his journey of the hero, to look within and find the dreams in which he wants to birth into reality. Representing water and all that nurtures us, the cacao begins to bathe in the juices and pulp of the sweet nectar giving it her first day of rest in this gestation fermentation.

She then was visited by the following 10 energies in the calendar that remain under the care of the midwife mother Kawok. Traveling in a journey of maturation to discover what is our own original creation in this material world. What were the important things to discover, slowing down to listen, to create relationship of a give and giving back, building community and cooperation. Finishing the trecena in 13 Bat’z as an inspiration in creation from our very ancestors and spirit.

This rolls into the Trecena of E’ - the path - where do you want this journey to lead?

2 Aj, which brings us the masculine aspect of choice and decision of action. That night was the decision if the cacao was ready or not… She decided one more day to make a full cycle of 13 days in order for her to receive the energies to give birth on the day representing femininity, the woman, I’x, la abuelita, the great goddess, the great grandmother, I’x Balam - Granddmother Jaguar, I’x Cacao, I’x Balam ke “mujer mago jaguar” in q’eqchi. Energy of the moon, abuela luna, shining her feminine light on the world, also more literal translation in q’eqchi is “the aspect hidden by the sun”, or our interpretation… “the feminine aspect of the sun”.

This beautiful batch calling on feminine energy was carried through her drying phase by a grand group of women in a Jungle Cacao Training Course we hosted, where she communicacted that she wanted to be caressed and massaged regularly, bringing their energy directly into her through the turning of the cacao on the drying tables.

3 Kan, the last energy to be recorded here was the day of her transformation into her destiny of chocolate.

Kan is the snake, the life force kundalini qi energy that flows through each and every one of us. This feminine form of sacred life force flow, encouraging us into our own home, inner world, body. Finding kundalini energy from within and letting her rise, bringing her into the right form.

With all these 3-3-3 powerful energies together was “given to the light” this chocolate you have in your hands. She is powerful and taught us much, we hope that she can do the same for you. Whether you make your own intentions with this cacao or it is to be shared amongst others, we hope this potent cacao helps you find the feminine awakening within you to release your creativity into the world.

The final energy is the one you bring… Look for how this energy combines with your own nahual - the day you were born for your personal reading - or the day that you will drink the energy to find a deeper connection in your intention.

Find your nahual birth energy or today’s day, we recommend this calendar calculation of tzolkin and discovering more about the mayan calendars.
